CANVAS expands the boundaries of its Art exhibitions as we host our first Evening of Music. The evening featured acoustic sets performed by several contemporary artist: Cassandra, Julian Lahdesmaki from Springhill, Stereofox and headliner Res. This was our first such event and we look forward to doing more. For those of you who missed it, this video will serve as a small recap. For those of you who attended, we thank you for your support and we look forwarding to seeing you all at CANVAS in the near future.

This Saturday 10.24.09 from 5-9pm we will be having our first  showcase of the ART of  MUSIC. This week we feature the Headlining Rock/R&B of Res, best known for her debut album “How I Do” with the smash single ‘Golden Boy’. The Pop/Soul of Cassandra, aka Cass, local Malibu-ite Julian from Springhill whose folk/rock acoustic set at a previous Canvas Art Opening blew the crowd away and finally we have an encore performance by Stereofox. Sterefox’s laid back funky soul held it down at a recent Crosscreek Art walk so we are delighted to have them back. It’s definitely going to be a great evening and we look forward to continuing to push the boundaries of what you can expect from Canvas boutique and gallery. CANVAS …it starts with ART
