Headlines: Shipping Sails in Brooklyn

Sometimes people around you come up with amazing ideas that make you smile and say – “that will actually work” or “wow, what a great idea”. Well that is how we feel about NicNat Direct. Our friend Shaun (Owner/Creator of NicnatDirect) set his ship a sail on the east coast with a business that is interesting and that has great legs. We all know that small business is the backbone of the United States economy and good ideas can make for amazing businesses (Pinkberry, Starbucks, Blackberry etc….). We asked a few questions and Shaun was kind enough to answer.
What does your logo represent? My logo originally came from another business initiative that I wanted to launch in 2000. The business never took off and I became attached to the logo. Don’t laugh but I actually carried it in my wallet for the last 10 years. I consider the character family. To me he represents fun and welcoming. I want everyone that uses NicNatDirect to have a fun and pleasant experience. I also want people from all over the world regardless of race, color, or religion to feel welcomed.
What exactly do you do? I do two things; a. I allow people living outside of the US to shop online at any US website and have their items delivered directly to their home. b. I ship goods to any part of the world efficiently and at an affordable price.
