Oetzi “Otz” which ever you prefer is pronounced the same, because either means – great shoes, great comfort and great innovative comfort footwear design. I gush about this brand to the point you would think I am on the payroll (hey can I get on the payroll?) but you know what, they keep the fabulousness coming – ie the new for SP/SU 12 Tara Sandal. This sandal begs you to put your birkenstocks away and step into the season with a new modern look that is as classic as it is contemporary. Amazing design, supple leather, cork soles and an oragami slip knot lacing system that is much easier than it looks in the pics. Spring is truly in the air when the Otz 300gms is in the building. This Malibu based and designed brand single handledly turned our attention to an area of footwear that we were tinkering with, but had not committed to – barefoot comfort. We always bought fashionable shoes that were comfortable, but then Otz3300 came along and showed us a shoe that placed a premium on comfortable without excluding fashion and we have been happily married ever since. The 300gms is made from Italian linen and for sp12 comes in some very groovy pop colors, mimosa (yellow), maui blue, military and natural. The cork lite insole is still lite, comfy and will mould to your feet. To go on about how great this shoe is is pointless – come in and try them on and let your feet do the talking. Click through . Pointer UK has stepped up their womens footwear offerings for sp12 in a big way. All shoes are handmade in portugal , the fabrics are amazing and everything is just a little ahead of the curve. The (Darcy)ballet the flat is soft and super comfortable, with a durable sole and construction in a nude color that will only get better over time. The mens lace-up done for women (Elise) is spring summer cool with the mesh sides and a great deep navy colored suede. Lastly the wedge (Eliza) is taking things to the next level with a very contemporary design that is unique. Burgundy is a color that is coming on strong for sring/summer right into fall12 and the wedge heel screams summer every year, but as a lace-up is fresh. Store favorites – All three. Click through . Hey ladies we have not forgotten about you. Fresh off the presses (UPS truck) is the latest update in the collab with converse and Finish design house Marimekko. Prints selected for the collaboration include both timeless Marimekko classics as well as newer designs created by influential Marimekko designers Maija Isola and Maija Louekari. Comme des Garcons teamed up with converse to have a go at the Jack Purcell silhouette this time around and what you see above is the outcome. CDG play collection is hot and has been for a few years now, we sort of backed off the brand for a while but the collab sneakers are the cats meow and we try to get our little grubbies on them whenever they are released. For women we brought in the low tops in the white with the red heart and the black with black heart and for men the lo’s in white with the black heart and the lo’s in black with the black heart.
