Where are you? Philadelphia, Pa for the Philly Triathlon (Sprint) - .5 mile swim / 15.7 mile bike / 3.1 mile run
What’s Up? Two generation of Johnsons – Jac and her brother (Bill), along with her niece (Emily) - individually and collectively assaulted the Philly Triathlon today. Results: Emily finished 1st – ages 15-19, Jac finished 6th - ages ??-??, Bill finished 20th – ages ??-??. You know what they say- “A family that Tri’s together stays together”. Congrats – Team Johnson!!!

What’s up? Gifted 4 tixs by one our favorite canvas customers “malibupapa” to see the game. Seats were great, pastrami sandwich was dry and 3 cokes was definitely overkill. But then halftime came and this amazing strength team called “DUO DESIGN” came out in gold tights and performed these amazing moves of strength and balance. I rifled off a few crappy pics and decided to search them online so you could really see them in proper action – thank you youtube and chinese television . The rocky theme is a nice touch – just wish I knew what the commentators were saying – but, “WOW THESE GUYS ARE GREAT” is universal. FYI-this performance is pretty much the same as what we saw on Sunday give or take a few presses and yes the Lakers lost :)
Where are you? Victoria & Pearl at the VA
Victoria Nodiff is an amazing Malibu artist and friend of Jac and I, who has shown her work at Canvas previously and will be showing again this Fall 2010. To know Victoria is to know that she loves animals and that horses are one of her great passions. Victoria has been doing great work with her mini horse “Pearl” (whose little hooves are actually covered in Canvas baby kicks) for quite some time. We asked a few questions and Victoria was gracious enough to answer.
