Unis Lee, the designer of the brand UNIS – is the queen of the mens chino pant, if you do not believe me – just ask GQ (google it). We have been interested in Unis’s chino’s for two years now, but had not had an opportunity to connect with Ms. Lee and the brand – so we waited. After meeting up with Unis here in LA where her pants are made, we fell in deep like wth her and her collection. Based on a simplicity that is steeped in quality, fit, fabrics and a steadfast determinatin to make the best product she can, we knew her collection was right for the shop. Made from Italian cotton, this classic flat front famously named the “Gio” has a slim contemporary fit and a modern color family ie - mist & carbon (above). Trust me or try them on for yourself!!!! Billy Reid is back for Sp12 and this brand just continues to get stronger. The pieces are very wearable, well made and while they are pretty classic Billy adds a modern take on everything that he does. We have been buying Rogan NYC for women for years, so we decided to bring in the mens collection for sp12. We couldn’t be happier as the pieces are cool (Vorian Polyfill Jacket), the fabrics are interesting - recycled cotton hoodies (Faykan Hooded Sweatshirt) and sweaters (Gaius Sweatshirt). I apologize from the gate because I am posting this Brookings Jacket for those who did not get to see it in the shop because we SOLD OUT of this jacket in two days. This was one of my favorite Rag & Bone pieces of the season because they did to me all of the things that I wish Barbour would do with their jackets - slim them out, modernise them and crop them. This waxed jacket is off the charts with two button snap flap pockets and two below. Leather detailing on shoulders, elbow and forearm. Button snap front closure with zipper front closure beneath. Adjustable snap cuffs and snap rear vent and bound seam details. 100% waxed cotton Lining: 100% cotton.

Efforting to give you the shirt off of our backs – okay that is a tad dramatic, just a little. What we want to give you is the shirt that we wanted to wear in terms of fabric, fit, design and overall style. I recently read an article about a brand that worked on the design of their pants for several years – well we have worked on our shirting for 3 years now and I can say we have finally reached the promised land. This is the shirt we love and that we hope that you will love to. Designed with our favorite micro collars – these wide collared button downs, with contrast necklinings, covered seams throughout with contrasting color on the inside, shortened gussetts and our own personal touches on the cuffs, come in 4 colors – white, gray, blue/white and lavender. Threading a needle that almost feels preppy (in some circles that is a bad word), Billy Reid creates pieces that are timeless, things that are as current this year as they will be five years from now. Pieces that will definitely be better with age as they tell your story of wear. We love the Dublin Cardigan (pictured above) because it just feels slouchy, homey and comfortable while still giving you a clean look. It says fall/winter on the east coast with a scarf, or a fall/winter walk on the beach in the bu. Oliver Spencer for fall11 continues to be a collection in an amazing growth phase. Everytime we see the collection it just gets bigger and bigger as it grows into all categories. This season Ollie delivers what I consider to be sturdy British style – practical, fashionable, contemporary conservative with a twist. The fits and the fabrics are all great (see the military jacket above). And those little round collars (Eton collar) on his shirting may take some getting used to, but if Nucky Thompson can wear them on Boardwalk Empire - why can’t you!!!! Click through . Give a Call .
