For the record I do not likeVegas! I do not gamble, the food is not what it used used to be back in the day, or perhaps what I consider to be good food has change significantly. But Viva Las Vegas the Brand New ARIA is here.

Recommended by our friend  Austin, this hotel is everything none vegas types like Jac and myself enjoy – ultra modern architecture and rooms (no free wireless however), comfortable but tasteful lounges and the casino while an integral part of the Aria( it is vegas after all ) is not the focus of the Hotel. Aria is connected to the Vdara another hotel, several buildings and a gallery(we did not make it in-ran out of time) that are under partial construction as a part of  a newly created city center. Within the city center is one of the slickest luxury malls that is a mix of interesting art and architecture,  populated with stores such as, Tom Ford, Bottega Venetta, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Assouline etc… Bottomline – sometimes we scan the world for great design and it is right here at home - VEGAS (who knew??) Enjoy.
